Military Man!

Caitlin is visiting with Joey this weekend. When Nevaeh (15 months
old) saw his picture on Facebook she said, "Uncle Joey!".

GUESS WHO LEFT TODAY TO SEE HER MILITARY MAN?!

Caitlin left today with Vickie and Joe to see Joey!  He has 36 hours of family leave time this weekend.  I will post pictures soon!  (2 months and 5 days until the big wedding ceremony!)

INVITATIONS ARE DONE AND MAILED!

These were a lot of work.... Vickie, Caitlin, Grandma Betty and I worked on them for several days... Approximately 160 invitations were mailed today!  A huge thank you goes to Vickie for taking on this huge undertaking.  THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!

LESS THAN 3 MONTHS AWAY- INVITATIONS!

This is just a small clip of Nevaeh helping Aunt Caitlin making baby shower favors!  She helped for a long time and was very patient when Aunt Caitlin couldn't get the lid on!

MAY 7, 2011 GRADUATION!!!!!

TODAY WAS A WONDERFUL DAY....MY BABY GIRL GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE! 

MAY 6, 2011- PINNING CEREMONY FOR NURSES

The day before graduation!  This is the Pinning Ceremony for Nurses.  For today's event, the extended family could attend.....but tomorrow's graduation, only 4 tickets were given out!

This was Caitlin's graduation gift from all of us....an ipad!   Lucky girl!

LAST DAY OF NURSING SCHOOL!

Today is Caitlin's last day of her preceptorship in the emergency room!  And....last day of her undergraduate work!  WOW!  This is a gift from one of her nurses that mentored her.  She also got a matching lanyard for her identification card, but Caitlin is wearing that today....so no picture of that one.  Graduation is next Saturday!  WOW!

3 WEEKS AWAY!

Caitlin will be a college graduate in 3 short weeks!  I will enjoy seeing RN-BSN after her name, once she passes the NCLEX!

LIFE CHANGES THIS WEEK!

This week marks two important times in Caitlin and Joe's lives.....Joe will be leaving late Monday or early Tuesday for 14 weeks for the Army National Guard training (part boot camp and AIT schooling).  The bad part about this is that Joe will not be able to contact Caitlin during the whole 14 weeks!  YIKES!  This will be hard on both of them.   At least Caitlin will be plenty busy....This week also marks the start of her preceptorship for nursing.  She is working in an emergency room for 5 weeks.  After the 5 weeks, she graduates.  Then the hard studying begins for the NCLEX nursing exam for licensure.....Then hopefully a REAL PAYING NURSING JOB!

CORSAGES & BOUTONNIERES

Caitlin made 5 corsages and I made the 21 boutonnieres today!  We still need to make about 7 more corsages.........I need another spring break! HA!
